Linde, a leading global manufacturer of industrial gases, intends to construct a new hydrogen factory in Washington County as part of a $83 million expansion project that will have a significant effect on the local economy.
The new factory, according to Linde, will strengthen the company’s solid supply network and enable it to fulfill increased demand from aerospace, electronics, manufacturing, and mobility customers.
Linde stated that it will adopt a standard plant design for the facility in order to reduce costs and construction risk by utilizing domestically sourced and manufactured equipment.
In addition to the construction-related jobs, the project will result in the creation of six operational positions and ten truck drivers once completion.
