By 2030, Lotte Chemical plans to invest a total of 10 trillion won in hydrogen energy and battery materials.
Lotte Chemical convened a meeting and revealed its ‘2030 Vision and Growth Strategy.’
According to the contents, we intend to create 1.2 million tons (t) of clean hydrogen by 2030 and achieve annual sales of KRW 5 trillion by investing KRW 6 trillion in the hydrogen energy sector.
In addition, we intend to encourage the use of clean ammonia in other countries.
By 2030, the objective in the battery materials sector is to generate annual sales of 5 trillion won by spending 4 trillion won.
We intend to expedite our expansion into international markets by establishing a local subsidiary in the United States.
“We will attain 50 trillion won in sales by 2030 by considerably boosting new eco-friendly enterprises while lowering carbon,” a Lotte Chemical executive stated.
