Mainstream Renewable Power appoints new CEO

The Board of Mainstream Renewable Power has appointed of Mary Quaney as group chief executive officer.

Mary Quaney joined Mainstream in 2009. She has been group chief financial officer since 2017 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2019. The appointment follows the resignation of Andy Kinsella, who has served as chief executive since 2016.

Mary brings significant experience and a record of success that will be critical as we continue to build the company across the world as the transition to renewable energy accelerates. Mary will be supported by our Chief Operations Officer Bart Doyle and the Global Leadership Team that is so admired within the industry.”

The Board acknowledge the contribution of outgoing CEO Andy Kinsella, who has served the company as CEO and previously as head of Offshore.

Andy brought a passion and commitment to the senior roles he fulfilled at Mainstream. He has left the company in great shape with a very accomplished senior management, led by Mary Quaney, poised to advance further the company’s ambitions.
