Mobile Hydrogen Station: A New Milestone in Fuel Efficiency

BTE Inc. has recently filed a patent for an advanced mobile hydrogen station designed to enhance hydrogen fuel supply to various mobility products. Officially titled “Apparatus for Supplying Hydrogen to Various Mobility Products,” the patent was filed on May 16, 2024. This development is attributed to BTE Inc., a prominent player in the hydrogen technology sector.

Unique Features and Improvements

The breakthrough in this patent lies in its miniaturized, integrated system that allows for a high-pressure hydrogen supply directly from the generating source. Unlike traditional setups that require hydrogen storage tanks, this system eliminates the need for storage, thereby improving space efficiency and mobility. The apparatus ensures airtightness of the gas supply path and incorporates real-time measurement of physical state variables such as pressure and temperature. It automatically controls the hydrogen supply process based on these measurements. This results in higher gas filling efficiency, improved safety, and enhanced user convenience during the filling process.

Potential Applications

The patented technology is directly aimed at supporting hydrogen-fueled mobility products, including cars and buses, and potential applications in other forms of transportation, such as drones and marine vehicles. Its portability could prove invaluable for remote or dispersed operations where traditional hydrogen stations are impractical.
