MyFC, a Swedish micro fuel cell business, has won an order from the e-mobility industry for an undisclosed quantity of hydrogen fuel cell units.
The order is worth no more than 2 million SEK. It was placed by Lightec Inc. in Tokyo, Japan, on behalf of a major e-mobility component manufacturer.
For myFC’s unique fuel cell technology, the fast-growing soft mobility segment is a priority focus area.
A feasibility study, which is now complete, preceded the commercial order, which had a value of not more than 2 million SEK. The feasibility study looked at how myFC’s tiny fuel cell technology and a hydrogen tank may be integrated into the system of an unnamed manufacturer. Following the completion of the feasibility study, prototype development, production, and integration will begin.
The receipt of the order is a significant step forward in the parties’ discussions to form a cooperation agreement for technological development projects in the e-mobility industry.
