Nespresso launches first branded hydrogen-powered truck

0

Nespresso Switzerland has launched the first branded green hydrogen-powered vehicle, in collaboration with logistics partner von Bergen SA.

This is part of Nespresso’s plan to minimize its own carbon footprint, with the famous coffee company striving for net zero emissions across its supply chain by 2022, claiming that every cup of Nespresso coffee, for both home and professional consumers, would be carbon neutral.

Von Bergen is a member of H2 Mobility Switzerland, a non-profit organization dedicated to decarbonizing the Swiss transportation industry by implementing new hydrogen refueling stations and vehicles.

Working on Nespresso Switzerland’s logistical aspects helps reduce the company’s carbon footprint while still endorsing Swiss H2 mobility targets on the path to net zero.
