Poland-based company MMI has successfully acquired €7.7 million in funding to advance its development of electric and hydrogen-powered buses.

As governments and industries worldwide push towards greener solutions, MMI’s innovative approach puts them at the forefront of eco-friendly public transportation.

MMI’s latest funding effort is set to fuel the research and development of their eco-friendly buses. With the growing demand for sustainable transit options, their focus on electric and hydrogen technologies is not only timely but critical. The investment reflects confidence in MMI’s capability to deliver cutting-edge solutions that address climate change and reduce urban pollution.

The significant funding comes from a mix of public and private investors, who see the potential in MMI’s technology to revolutionize the transportation sector. Their electric and hydrogen buses are expected to serve as a model for future public transport systems, combining efficiency with environmental responsibility. This move aligns with the broader European Union goals to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

MMI’s CEO expressed enthusiasm about the funding, emphasizing that it will accelerate the company’s mission to provide cleaner, more sustainable mobility solutions. The funding will be utilized to enhance their product range, improve battery technology, and optimize hydrogen fuel cells, making these buses a viable option for cities looking to upgrade their public transport fleets.

Public and industry stakeholders are keenly watching MMI’s progress, drawing parallels with other leading green tech advancements across Europe. With increasing urbanization and the pressing need to curtail emissions, MMI’s electric and hydrogen buses could play a pivotal role in shaping the future of urban mobility.
