PRF Gas Solutions has begun building Portugal’s first permanent hydrogen refuelling station in Cascais, highlighting the country’s commitment to sustainable energy and green transportation.

This pioneering project is managed by PRF under an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract and marks a significant step forward in using renewable energy.

The new station will replace PRF’s portable hydrogen refuelling station, DRHYVE, operational since August 2021. Designed for both light and heavy vehicles, it will offer hydrogen refuelling at 350 bar and 700 bar, supporting various hydrogen-powered buses and passenger cars.

PRF Gas Solutions’ experience in the fuel sector positions it to lead the transition to a hydrogen-based economy. The company’s dedication to sustainability and innovation is evident in this new facility, promising cleaner air and a healthier environment for future generations.
