Quantron AG has introduced mobility solutions based on hydrogen fuel cell technology. The Q-Light FCEV van is their most recent offering in this market.
For the first time, QUANTRON exhibited the Q-Light to a trade audience at NUFAM, the premier trade expo for the commercial vehicle sector. It is Europe’s only hydrogen fuel cell transporter in the 3.5 to 4.2 tone range. AE Driven Solutions, a QUANTRON partner and fuel cell specialist, is offering the car.
The Q-Light FCEV’s payload is equivalent to that of a comparable diesel car. It’s also possible to compare the refueling time to that of a diesel car. The Q-Light FCEV is capable of operating in either electric or fuel cell mode. The battery has a 37-kilowatt-hour capacity and, like the 15-kilowatt-hour fuel cell, has a long service life. The waste heat from the fuel cell may also be used to heat the inside, saving power.
