Alongside sustainable sanitary trends, the energy turnaround will be one of the main topics at SHK ESSEN from September 6 to 9 at Messe Essen.
Because the trade fair with its around 400 exhibitors and the SHK NRW trade association as the conceptual sponsor stands for climate protection in practice. Under the title “Hydrogen Practice in Dialog”, visitors can expect a separate specialist forum for the first time this year in Hall 2 on all aspects of one of the energy sources of the future. There, exhibitors will present, among other things, fields of application for hydrogen in the SHK sector as well as devices and components.
With the proportional feeding of hydrogen into the natural gas network and the planning of hydrogen networks, new products are also being used. From preparation and installation to maintenance and servicing, questions and new task spectrums arise for SHK professionals from the trades and technical building equipment. “The energy turnaround can only be achieved with the support of the skilled trades and industry. With the new platform ‘Hydrogen Practice in Dialog’ at SHK ESSEN, our member companies are playing their part,” explains Volker Meyer, General Manager of the Federal Association of Companies in the Gas and Water Trade (figawa), which is a partner of the new specialist forum.
