The new service began this past weekend in Sejong City and will run every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 6pm through October 31st.
The fuel cell drone was developed in collaboration with LG Electronics and is equipped with a function to avoid traffic and move through machine learning that identifies geographic information and delivery routes, according to a statement from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT).
According to Korean media, two fuel cell drones would deliver pizza to clients at a rate of two to three orders per hour.
