Sungrow Hydrogen has entered into a supply agreement with the ACME Group, aiming to deliver advanced water electrolysis equipment for a major green ammonia project in Oman.

Under the agreement, Sungrow Hydrogen will supply several sets of 1000Nm³/h ALK hydrogen production equipment along with adaptable green hydrogen production solutions. The scheduled completion for equipment delivery is within the year 2025. This initiative is a key component of ACME’s broader green energy ambitions in the region, with operations projected to begin in 2026. The project aims to produce 300 tonnes of green ammonia daily in its initial phase, bolstering Oman’s prominence in the global green hydrogen sector.

Sungrow Hydrogen is strengthening its position within the international green hydrogen industry. In 2024, the company received notable certifications such as CE, TÜV, and CNAS for its electrolyzer products and its 20MW Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Production Platform. Additionally, Sungrow Hydrogen has recently inaugurated Plant No.2 at its Intelligent Manufacturing Centre, marking the launch of China’s first automated assembly line for ALK electrolyzers. This development promises a 60% boost in production efficiency, bringing the company’s annual production capacity to 3GW.
