Clean Hydrogen Works (CHW) has awarded McDermott the front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for the Ascension Clean Energy (ACE) Project, which is being jointly developed by CHW along with strategic shareholders ExxonMobil, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, and Hafnia.
The hydrogen-ammonia complex that Clean Hydrogen intends to build in Ascension Parish, Louisiana, and which is expected to be constructed less than two miles from Denbury’s current CO2 pipeline network, will transport and sequester CO2 under the terms of the binding agreement.
