Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmad Sheikh chaired a meeting to discuss the establishment of a pioneering Green Hydrogen Project in collaboration with China State Grid and Oracle Energy. This landmark project, the first of its kind in Pakistan, aims to generate 400 MW of green hydrogen using wind and solar energy.
In a significant development for the renewable energy sector, Oracle Energy, a subsidiary of Oracle Power, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PetroChina International Middle East (PCME) to explore commercial opportunities for its Green Hydrogen Project in Sindh, Pakistan.
In order to discuss the possible production and delivery of green hydrogen, Oracle Power and Emirates Global Aluminium PJSC (EGA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The Government of Sindh has agreed to a long lease with Oracle Energy for a period of 30 years for a land package totaling 7,000 acres in south-east Pakistan, where Oracle Energy would build its flagship Green Hydrogen Project. This announcement was made by Oracle Power.
