Viritech debuts hydrogen refueling product

Viritech debuted their hydrogen refueling product for automotive, aerospace, and marine applications.

The H2 Fill controller is designed to help equipment makers fill several storage vessels on a single truck with SAE J2799 standard refueling.

Through infrared communication with refueling stations, Viritech claims the controller can monitor the temperature and pressure of numerous vessels during refueling, enabling 700 bar refueling. For applications with pre-installed infrared sensors, the controller can be supplied without one.


Renault Master fuel cell architecture from Hyvia

At the Solutrans trade show, Hyvia, the Renault and Plug Power joint venture, unveiled the new design of the Renault Master H2-Tech fuel cell transport vehicle. Smaller body versions of this vehicle will be available starting in the second quarter of 2024.

The current Renault Master H2-Tech L3H3 series, which has 14.4 cubic meters of load space, now has two smaller variants: L2H2 (10.4 cubic meters) and L3H2 (12.6 cubic meters), thanks to this revised architecture. The well-known vehicle is referred to as the “current Renault Master series.” At Solutrans, Renault also unveiled the latest edition of the Master, which will likewise come in two BEV variants; more on this model will be discussed shortly.


ADNOC opens H2GO hydrogen refueling station

The first high-speed green hydrogen refueling station in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) called “H2GO” has opened, according to ADNOC. The purpose of this pilot project is to test a fleet of hydrogen-powered cars that emit no emissions.

The facility, run by ADNOC Distribution and situated on property donated by Masdar City, will use an electrolyser driven by clean grid electricity to produce green hydrogen from water.
