A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a partner connection between the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (CHFCA) and the UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (UK HFCA) has been signed.
The Associations want to collaboratively promote deployment efforts in hydrogen energy and fuel cell technology between the UK and Canada by creating a platform for communication and cooperation to offer broad market benefits.
The organizations have stated that they will cooperate over the next three years to foster cooperation between the two nations, investigate mutually advantageous hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, industrial exchange, and development.
The alliance also intends to facilitate trade missions, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, webinars, and meetings. It also seeks to investigate common technological impediments to the production, distribution, storage, and use of hydrogen.
Members of the UK HFCA and CHFCA will also establish regular communication in order to share market intelligence and pinpoint numerous potential areas for UK-Canada cooperation.
