An agreement on energy cooperation to boost the green hydrogen industry will be signed by the governments of Chile and the United States the following year.
The intention of both governments was to establish a memorandum of agreement on energy cooperation in 2023.

In Santiago, the capital of Chile, representatives from both countries reached an agreement on joint initiatives addressing crime, security, and climate change. Grants for academics and researchers pursuing climate change solutions were also mentioned, along with plans to restart a joint scientific and technology council the next year to foster public-private cooperation.
