Superglass Insulation’s manufacturing process to include hydrogen

Green hydrogen will be a part of Superglass Insulation’s manufacturing process.

In order to supply green hydrogen to its glass manufacturing facilities in Stirling, Scotland, UK, the company has partnered strategically with Carlton Power Limited. Superglass’ dependency on natural gas will decline as a result of the collaboration deal.

WATT adds vice president of manufacturing

Peter Gunderson has been appointed vice president of manufacturing by WATT Fuel Cell Corp (WATT). In his new position, Gunderson will manage a growing staff as WATT begins selling its Solid Oxide Fuel Cell devices that are powered by natural gas.

Hope Gas, Inc., a utility business based in West Virginia, recently placed an initial order for 500 residential 1.5 kilowatt Imperium® fuel cells. Customers can utilize these fuel cells as an alternate source of home electricity, operating in tandem with an occasionally problematic electrical system.

Gunderson, an expert in mass production for high-tech goods, joins WATT from Magnecomp Precision Technology in Ayutthaya, Thailand, where he led initiatives to improve processes and raise product reliability as engineering director.
