Envision Energy showcases green hydrogen solutions at World Smart Energy Week

Leading green technology company Envision Energy made significant contributions to the green hydrogen value chain by showcasing its ground-breaking green hydrogen solutions during World Smart Energy Week, which took place in Tokyo, Japan, from February 28 to March 1.

World Smart Energy Week, one of the most significant renewable energy events globally, brings together the newest goods and innovations in hydrogen and fuel cells, photovoltaic systems, rechargeable batteries, smart grids, and wind energy with the goal of promoting carbon neutrality and accelerating business.


VALO and Blue Orca Marine forge strategic alliance

The San Francisco-based VALO, formerly known as Boundary Layer Technologies, and Blue Orca Marine, a pioneer in Canada’s zero-emission sustainable marine solutions, have forged a strategic alliance to advance hydrofoil innovation.

As part of the agreement, Blue Orca will receive from VALO powerful industrial hydrofoilling systems designed specifically for the 36-meter ORCA, a multipurpose commercial workboat running on hydrogen technology with no emissions.

VALO will provide hydrofoil design experience and exclusive foil stabilization software for Blue Orca, which is expected to build 50 ORCA vessels over the course of the next ten years.


Mannok and HVS to test fleet of heavy goods vehicles powered by fuel cells

Mannok and Hydrogen Vehicle Systems (HVS) have teamed up to test a fleet of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) powered by fuel cells that emits no emissions.

The Glasgow-based company’s HGVs will be incorporated into Mannok’s fleet upon their availability in late 2025, as per the terms of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

Mannok wants all of its operations to be Net Zero by 2050, and HVS is supplying the initial fleet conversion to zero emissions.
