JCB launches hydrogen-powered generator
The most recent breakthrough in JCB’s investigation and creation of construction equipment driven by hydrogen has been made public.
JCB is demonstrating how its three-phase Powerpack and a hydrogen generator may be used in tandem to build on-site “microgrids” that combine hydrogen combustion and battery electricity. The generator, which runs on hydrogen, essentially doubles as a battery charger when the Powerpack receives energy from renewable sources. It only runs for brief periods of time at peak load or when the battery has to be topped off.
Dutch company developing first superyacht fueled by hydrogen
What is purported to be the first superyacht fueled by hydrogen fuel cells in the world is being developed by a Dutch designer.
According to an email statement, the engineering firm MAN Cryo has been chosen to furnish the hydrogen fuel supply system for the 118.8 m yacht.
Feadship is currently developing the vessel, which goes by Project 821.
Vallourec to present at Hydrogen Technology Conference & Expo North America
Vallourec will be attending the Hydrogen Technology Conference & Expo North America, which is being held in conjunction with the Carbon Capture Technology Conference & Expo North America in Houston, Texas, on June 26–27, 2024. These gatherings, which take place annually, will bring together all of the major figures in the decarbonization industry to talk about cutting edge carbon capture and hydrogen technology.
As part of its commitment to decarbonization, Vallourec will attend the event for the third year in a row to showcase its very valuable technology in the emerging energy market. Additionally, in October 2024, the Group will be present in the European version of the Show in Hamburg, Germany.
