Mainstream Renewable Power has placed an order with Vestas for the 109 MW Ckani wind park to be located in Antofagasta, Chile.
The contract includes the supply and installation of 26 V150-4.2 MW wind turbines, as well as the Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for the operation and maintenance of the wind farm for the next 20 years.
The 109 MW Ckani project, which was awarded at the auction held in 2016, adds more than 1,5 GW of Vestas turbines already installed or under construction in the region.

The Ckani Wind Park is scheduled to be commercially operational in 2021.
