James Fisher Marine Services (JFMS) has secured a framework contract to deliver wind turbine blade maintenance and repair services to Vattenfall, to help optimize wind farm performance.
JFMS is one of three firms involved in the framework agreement, which covers nearly 50 onshore and offshore wind farms across Northern Europe.
As part of the contract, JFMS’s subsidiary, Rotos 360, will deliver proactive solutions across blade inspection, repair and maintenance campaigns.

The agreement will provide wind turbine up-tower blade maintenance and repair across five countries of operation, including the UK, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden, covering onshore and offshore wind turbines, over a minimum two-year period.

This agreement with Vattenfall will help support job creation in the East Anglian and Humber regions, with JFMS based in Lowestoft and Grimsby.
