Class 8 Nikola Tre battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) and Nikola Tre hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicles (HFEVs) were made available for purchase through a partnership between Nikola Corporation and ENGS Commercial Finance, a Mitsubishi HC Capital company.
With the help of the Nikola dealer network, ENGS will be able to provide customers with a wide range of financing options for the purchase of Nikola vehicles, charging assets, and infrastructure. It demonstrates Nikola’s commitment to working with established transportation finance experts to provide tailored financing options for Nikola dealers and customers. For Nikola and its dealers, ENGS will provide floorplan and parts and service financing as well as other related capital requirements to help make sales easier.
At Nikola’s Coolidge, Arizona manufacturing plant, production of the Tre BEVs began. Deliveries of the Nikola Tre FCEV are expected to begin in 2023.
