Provaris Energy progresses hydrogen project in Australia Cost estimates and solar farm design for Provaris Energy (PV1Tiwi )’s H2 hydrogen project in Australia are scheduled for April. In Norway, pre-feasibility studies are accelerating project definition for a Nordic hydrogen plant. PV1 is preparing an EIS, social impact assessment, greenhouse gas abatement strategy, and noise evaluations for its Tiwi H2 project. The EIS for territory and federal approval is expected in the early fourth quarter. Costa Rican Grupo Purdy proposes green hydrogen-based ammonia plant Grupo Purdy, a corporate conglomerate in Costa Rica, has proposed building a green hydrogen-based ammonia plant to make fertilizer. The concept was presented to the environmental committee of the legislative assembly by group president Javier Quirós Ramos de Anaya. Atome Energy, Mesoamerica, and Ad-Astra Rocket are among the green hydrogen partners that Cavendish, Purdy’s subsidiary for renewable energy, has formed.
