RWE will be present in the Hydrogen Zone at the Labour and Conservative party conferences. The Hydrogen Zone is an inter-sectoral partnership whose members collectively convey the story of the expanding hydrogen economy in the United Kingdom. British hydrogen technology, such as a double-decker bus, hydrogen boiler, and electrolyser, will be on display in the Hydrogen Zone, with models and visual representations of the country’s most innovative hydrogen initiatives. Hydrogen is investigated in The Zone for its potential to release green jobs of the future, stimulate private investment and economic growth, fortify energy security, and aid the United Kingdom in…

Hydrogen Insights 2022, published by the Hydrogen Council, explains why the world’s economy need hydrogen investment and development now more than ever. As a result, it is more important than ever to put money into fully formed hydrogen initiatives. Our economies require clean [renewable] hydrogen, and action is needed to convert proposals into actual deployment,” the report stated, citing the rebound of carbon emissions to above pre-COVID levels, the invasion of Ukraine, and growing concerns around energy security as a result of the war in Europe. According to the research, even while funding for hydrogen projects is increasing at a…

Europe has nuclear tensions. Because the EU focuses on this low-carbon technology’s hydrogen role. Berlin wants to link nuclear with hydrocarbons despite its negligible climate impact. He won’t label nuclear-produced hydrogen “green.” After Fukushima, Germany decided to phase out nuclear power more than a decade ago. 100% renewable energy by 2030, up from 40%. France wants to generate “green” H2 using its low-carbon nuclear reactor mix. Agnès Pannier-Runacher wants hydro, wind, photovoltaic, and uranium fission included. Almost 96% of Europe’s energy is generated by steam reforming the methane molecule (CH4) in gas, which generates 9 to 10 kg of CO2…

First shown outside of Poland, Polish Pesa’s H2 hydrogen-powered shunting locomotive made its international debut at InnoTrans. The locomotive can run for 15 hours without needing to refuel, and it has a 650kW power output. The European Union approval procedure has begun. Pesa and Polish fuel refiner Orlen inked a collaboration agreement during the event’s presentation ceremony, allowing the locomotive to be offered with a hydrogen refueling station. Pesa can construct three hydrogen locomotives annually at now, but this number might be increased to satisfy demand. It will take about two years to manufacture one car.
