ANERT appointed green hydrogen nodal agency ANERT is the State’s Green Hydrogen nodal agency. The Power Department’s decision was based on ANERT’s CEO’s proposal for a single nodal agency to draft and publish the green hydrogen policy, assist investors, develop a single-window approval system and grievance redressal mechanism, and coordinate with State and Central government agencies. The State government wants to construct “green hydrogen hubs” in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram to promote eco-friendly growth and reduce carbon emissions with renewable energy-produced hydrogen.
