An option for a hydrogen fuel cell technology from Clean Vision Corporation is the next step in demonstrating the ability to store the clean hydrogen produced from its pilot pyrolysis plant, which is expected to lead toward full-scale commercialization. The world’s largest chemical company, BASF, has signed a long-term agreement with Linde for the supply of hydrogen and steam. Adding a second hydrogen production facility in France’s Chalampé chemical park, Linde will design, build, own, and operate the new facility, doubling its current capacity there. As part of its global strategy to produce environmentally friendly hydrogen and ammonia, ATOME Energy has established a new division, ATOME Mobility, with the goal of beginning transport operations in Paraguay in the year 2023 at the earliest. Initially, ATOME Mobility will supply hydrogen to the road transportation sector from the most populous areas. It is hoped that this part of the business will be up and running by H1 2023, after negotiating with several potential suppliers. The United States Bureau of Land Management has granted Heliogen the exclusive right to lease land in the Brenda Solar Energy Zone (SEZ). A green hydrogen facility capable of producing about 20,000 metric tons of hydrogen per year will be built by Heliogen at the Brenda site. The Brenda Special Economic Zone is located in La Paz County, Arizona, near the California state line, on 3,343 acres of land. With the issuance of 134.6 million new shares, ReNu Energy completed the acquisition of Countrywide Renewable Hydrogen (CRH). With the help of project partners and governments, CRH develops green hydrogen projects. Future Proof Shipping (FPS) has joined the Flagships project and is looking to deploy its zero-emissions inland container vessels in European waters soon. As part of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, which was formerly known as the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, Flagships is planning on launching two commercially operated hydrogen fuel cell vessels in 2023.
