Eco Wave Power has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MSMART Future Technology, as the basis for the development of a 50MW wave energy array in Vietnam. In the first phase, the Eco Wave Power engineering team, will perform an in-depth feasibility study, at the selected site in Vietnam. The study will include the installation of a wave measurement buoy, for collection of the site’s wave climate. The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) has released its largest funding call to date, totaling £1.5 million for Development Grants to be awarded to supply chain companies. Ørsted has made final investment decision for the 298 MW Haystack wind project in Wayne County, Nebraska. U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy (FE) has selected four projects for cost-shared research and development under the funding opportunity announcement (FOA), DE-FOA-0002180, Design Development and System Integration Design Studies for Coal FIRST Concepts.
