The Vomela Companies has installed a solar array at its new corporate headquarters in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Roughly 3,400 panels have been installed, producing up to 1.3 megawatts of DC energy. That’s enough energy to power 200 typical MN metro homes and will provide for roughly a third of total annual energy usage for the facility. JA Solar has supplied 43.8MW bifacial double-glass modules for the Malaysia’s first solar project that combines bifacial double-glass modules with trackers. The project is expected to generate 74 million kWh of electricity per year once entering operation. Invested by Halpro Engineering, a joint venture between a German developer, EPC Greencells Group and their local partner Majulia, the project belongs to Malaysia’s second round Large-Scale Solar (LSS) program. Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) has signed a contract with Yunneng Wind Power for the provision of temporary power during the turbine construction phase of the Yunlin offshore wind farm. Yunneng Wind Power is the project company of the offshore wind farm belonging to German developer wpd. Located around 8 km off the west coast of Taiwan, the project will comprise of 80 Siemens Gamesa SG 8.0-167 DD offshore wind turbines, giving a total capacity of 640 MW. Enel Green Power España has connected a new 3.46 MW wind farm in the town of Mallén and Fréscano, in the province of Zaragoza, to the electricity grid. The Dehesa de Mallén wind farm has one wind turbine with a capacity of 3.46 MW and will generate around 11.2 GWh per year, which is production equivalent to the amount consumed by 2.841 homes. Banpu has acquired El Wind Mui Dinh operating wind farm located in Vietnam. The purchase consideration payable is approximately $66 million, subject to certain adjustments outlined in the Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA). OHT Alfa Lift has signed a contract for the transport and installation of foundations for the first phase of Dogger Bank wind farm, Dogger Bank A, following the award of a Preferred Supplier Agreement in November 2019.
