BayoTech and the American Center for Mobility have designated the Detroit region as the next location for the expansion of their distributed hydrogen network (ACM). On ACM’s 500-acre property in Ypsilanti Township, a BayoGaaS Hydrogen Hub will produce 350 tonnes of low-carbon hydrogen per year. ACM is a global hub for future mobility technologies testing and validation, product development, education, and standards work. ACM sought out a hydrogen fueling option in response to demand from automakers seeking to test zero-emission fuel cell vehicles at the facility. “Hydrogen has a crucial role to play in enabling zero-emission vehicles in key segments…

Watlow, a designer and producer of industrial thermal systems, is pleased to announce that Raven SR Inc. has chosen it as a thermal technology partner for the field testing of its non-combustion equilibrium Steam/CO2 Reforming SR2 unit, which transformed methane to transportation-grade hydrogen. The SR2 reactor effectively outperformed other commercially available methods for the synthesis of hydrogen from methane. Raven’s proprietary steam / carbon dioxide reforming method converts all waste – biomass, municipal solid waste, bio-solids, industrial waste, sewage, medical waste and unwanted, useless, excess, low methane natural gas – into synthetic gas, which is then turned into renewable energy…
