ENERGODATA has selected Leclanché (LECN) to provide its proprietary energy management software (EMS) along with a battery energy storage system (BESS) for a novel application in a natural gas-fired power plant in Levice. The Leclanché EMS and BESS will be installed in the Veolia gas power plant in Western Slovakia. The 5.2 MW, 2.9 MWh energy storage system will be installed in the plant’s internal medium voltage grid. ScottishPower has signed an agreement with Global Energy Group at its Port of Nigg site to identify processes and plant that could be powered by green hydrogen. Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and CrossWind have entered into a deal to supply the turbines for the 759 MW Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind park. The Nordex Group has received an order comprising seven N133 turbines for a wind farm in Italy from Enel Green Power.
