EDP Renewables (EDPR) has been awarded a 15-year Contract-for-Difference (CfD) at the Polish renewable energy auction to sell electricity to be produced by a portfolio of 5 projects of wind and solar with a total capacity of 220 MW. RWE Renewables has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with E.ON UK under which the company will sell 100 percent of the electricity generated by the Humber Gateway offshore wind farm from 2022 to 2035. Cubico Sustainable Investments (Cubico) has reached an agreement to acquire Grupo T-Solar, a solar power generation platform with assets across Spain and Italy, from I Squared Capital. The platform, which comprises 47 operational assets with a capacity of 274 MW, includes 167 MW of solar PV and 100 MW of concentrated solar power across Spain, as well as 7 MW of solar PV in Italy. The Wärtsilä Hybrid Upgrade solution, has been selected for retrofitting two offshore construction vessels owned by Norwegian operator Østensjø Rederi. TenneT has hired subsea cable manufacturer Zhongtian Technology Submarine Cable (ZTT) for commissioning of five and 16 kilometres of wind farm connections.
