Pacifico Renewables has secured exclusive access to a portfolio of 51.8 MW of wind farms in Poland. Wind parks are currently under construction and are projected to generate approximately 191 GWh of pure green electricity per year once fully operational, saving more than 154,000 tons of CO2 per year. Initially, Pacifico plans to refinance the current subordinated debt to the target entity. Later, after the satisfactory completion of the construction process, Pacifico intends to finalize talks on the acquisition of equity control of the project. PSA Marine Pte has been granted a three-year €30 million sustainability-related loan from DBS Bank for its business expansion into the offshore wind market in Europe. The loan includes an adjustment of the interest rate linked to the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) target. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has gained ownership of closed-loop pump storage hydro projects in Swan Lake (Klamath County, Oregon) and Goldendale (Klickitat County, Washington). The projects were previously owned and built under a joint venture between Rye Development (Rye) and National Grid. Swan Lake is a 400 MW project that received its 50-year Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) license in 2019. Encavis Asset Management has purchased an additional wind farm in France and a solar farm in the Netherlands for its special fund Encavis Infrastructure Fund II (EIF II) The purchase agreement for the Bois Gautier wind farm, located in western France with a total generation capacity of 11,75 MW, has been signed with Energiequelle, a developer of projects and operator of wind, biomass and photovoltaic systems. MHI Vestas has installed the first V164 9.5 MW turbine, the most powerful turbine used for a floating wind project, at the Kincardine floating offshore wind farm. Lightsource bp has entered into a purchasing agreement with Array Technologies to supply Lightsource bp’s newly built 1.4GW solar portfolio worldwide with DuraTrack HZ v3 single-axis solar trackers equipped with SmarTrackTM optimizing plant technology. When installed and connected, this newly added solar capacity would produce enough combined renewable electricity to power more than 266,000 households. The Nordex Group has received another big order for the Delta4000 series N149/4.0-4.5. The developer of the wind farm has placed an order with the Nordex Group for 63 turbines for a project in the United States. The project and customer are undisclosed. In the summer of 2021, the Nordex Group will begin to supply and install turbines for this project in the state of Texas.
