Axpo’s subsidiary for the Belgian market has recently signed an agreement to purchase power from a wind farm in Estinnes, in the Walloon region. The 82 MW wind farm owned by CGN Europe Energy generates about 150 GWh of renewable power per year with its 11 turbines and is Belgium’s largest onshore wind farm. Vestas has upgraded the existing turbine versions of the EnVentus platform to a standard rating of 6.0 MW. The upgrade to 6.0 MW delivers an increase in energy production of more than 3 percent compared to 5.6 MW depending on site-specific conditions, while the siteability parameters are maintained. Altus Power has completed the acquisition of a 4-megawatt solar operating portfolio consisting of four single-axis tracker projects and one fixed-tilt project.
