Vestas has obtained a 53 MW order from Thuan Binh Wind Power Joint Stock Company (TBW), a local developer of two wind projects in Vietnam. Maxeon Solar Technologies has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Canadian Solar Japan in Tokyo District Court, Japan. Eolus has signed an agreement with Commerz Real concerning the selling of three wind farms with a combined installed capacity of 68 MW in southern Sweden. The preliminary purchase price for the wind farms amounts to €82.5 million. Vestas has signed a 25 MW contract with long-standing customer PNE for the Boitzenhagen wind project in Lower Saxony, Northern Germany. The order is originating from Germany’s fourth auction in 2020 for wind energy. EDF Renewables North America has signed a storage contract with CleanPowerSF as an extension to the previously negotiated 20-year solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). A 200 megawatt hour (MWh) battery storage device will now be combined with the 100 megawatt (MWac) Maverick 6 Solar Project. Enel Green Power Spain, has connected an 18 MW wind farm in the towns of Blesa and Moyuela, in the provinces of Teruel and Zaragoza, to the electricity grid. Maersk Supply Service and Ørsted have joined forces to test a prototype buoy that will serve as both a protected mooring point and a vessel charging station, potentially displacing renewable energy from a large amount of marine fuel.
