TenneT Holding priced a Green Hybrid Bond issue of EUR 1 billion with a coupon of 2.374% and a non-call period of 5.25 years. The issue will further strengthen TenneT’ s balance sheet as it will receive 50% “equity credit” from the credit rating agencies. The state sector in New Zealand has taken another significant step towards a renewable energy future, as climate change minister James Shaw revealed six new initiatives that will be funded by the solar-powered public service fund of the government. Vestas has secured an order of 101 MW for the second phase of the B&T wind farm with AMI AC Renewables, a joint venture between AC Energy and AMI Renewables. The County of San Luis Obispo has completed two solar projects at the Department of Parks and Recreation’s Dairy Creek golf course and the Department of Social Services on South Higuera Street, both located in San Luis Obispo. The intake of firm orders in the Projects segment (excluding the service business) reached a volume of 2,531.9 MW in the first half of 2020. Siemens Gamesa has scored a double order, including one for Vietnam’s largest nearshore wind farm, as the country advances rapidly on its renewable ambitions.
