The Nordex Group has received an order for the supply and installation of nine N149/4.0-4.5 turbines for the Finnish Kokkoneva project from its main client, ABO Wind. The turbines will be delivered in 4.8 MW mode of operation. The contract also includes the turbines’ premium service contract for a 15-year term with an option to extend it to 25 years. Wood has won two contracts for solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) from an American power and energy corporation worth more than $200 million. Wood was chosen through an competitive tender process and will be responsible for generating a cumulative capacity of 190 megawatts for two large solar projects in the U.S. state of Virginia.
