Enapter, a manufacturer of AEM electrolysers, was presented with the NRW.Global Business Award in Düsseldorf during a hybrid online/physical event.
The award recognizes international companies that have made significant investments in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), with the green hydrogen company being chosen for its decision to locate its “Enapter Campus” electrolyser mass production and research and development facility in the region.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, Minister of NRW Economics and Digital Affairs, accepted the award on behalf of the state-owned NRW.Corporation for Economic Development of Global Business.
“We are proud that North Rhine-Westphalia’s economic conditions attracted Enapter to invest here. The company brings both the innovative spirit that has always driven our region and the green hydrogen technology that we need for the future. With it we will prepare our industry for the coming years and will reduce our CO2 emissions. Enapter will be a key partner as we implement our hydrogen strategy roadmap” – Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart.
“We are 100% convinced that choosing NRW for the Enapter Campus was the right decision,” says Sebastian-Justus Schmidt, Chairman of Enapter AG. “Enapter is honoured to receive the NRW.Global Business Award, excited to be a part of the landmark hydrogen innovation region that is taking shape here and determined to play a significant role in achieving the regional and national hydrogen production goals with our AEM Electrolysers.”
