The first of the 77 V164-9.5 MW turbines has been installed at the 731.5 MW Borssele III/IV offshore wind project by MHI Vestas at site 55 km off the coast of the Netherlands.
After completion of the project, the Borssele III / IV project will provide 825.000 households with clean renewable energy, representing up to 2.3 percent of total Dutch demand for electricity. Completion is expected within this year.
