Nikola advances construction of refueling infrastructure
The construction of refueling infrastructure for Nikola Corp.’s Class 8 Tre hydrogen fuel cell electric tractors has advanced.
In December, the Phoenix-based manufacturer signed a 10-year contract with FirstElement Fuel to refuel Tre semis at a hydrogen refueling station in Oakland, California. The Ontario, California, refueling station started servicing clients’ vehicles in addition to units in its demonstrator fleet.
According to Nikola, fuelling 25 trucks per day at the modular Ontario facility can be completed in 20 minutes.
Ohmium shows green hydrogen clean cooking at NTPC NETRA Campus
The NTPC NETRA Campus served as a venue for Ohmium International (Ohmium) to showcase the green hydrogen’s potential and adaptability as a sustainable energy source.
CEOs and other high-ranking officials from the transportation, energy, and heavy industry sectors attended the event, which gave these early adopters of clean energy a firsthand look at how hydrogen may be used as a clean, emission-free energy source.
In order to fuel a modified cook stove and prepare a celebratory dish, green hydrogen was produced on-site using one of Ohmium’s PEM electrolyzers.
