HydrogenPro, a leading developer of green hydrogen solutions, has recently secured NOK 82.7 million ($7.6 million) in new equity through a private placement of new shares in Andritz.
Last year, HydrogenPro outlined a new strategic focus aimed at expanding its presence in the US market and establishing strategic partnerships to fuel growth. This latest investment in Andritz aligns with HydrogenPro’s vision to strengthen its position in the green hydrogen sector and explore alternative funding sources to support its ambitious goals.
Andritz, recognized as a global leader in P2X solutions for green hydrogen and renewable fuel production, offers comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for hydrogen plants. The collaboration between HydrogenPro and Andritz signifies a significant step forward in leveraging innovative technologies to drive the transition to sustainable energy solutions.
HydrogenPro’s partnership with Andritz is further bolstered by its high-pressure alkaline electrolyser (AEL) technology, which enhances the efficiency and scalability of green hydrogen production. By integrating HydrogenPro’s AEL technology into Andritz’s EPC offerings, the collaboration aims to accelerate the production of sustainable hydrogen solutions worldwide.
In addition to its strategic partnerships and investment initiatives, HydrogenPro recently announced a change in its Board leadership. Terje Mikalsens stepped down as the Chair of the Board, marking the third leadership transition within a year. While such changes may present challenges, they also offer opportunities for new perspectives and fresh approaches to guide HydrogenPro’s strategic direction.
