India’s Sustainable Projects Developers Association (SPDA) has taken a significant step towards advancing the global energy transition by organizing a business visit of Indian green hydrogen producers to South Korea.
The primary goal of the business visit is to showcase India’s expertise in green hydrogen production and derivatives while seeking to establish collaborative ventures with Korean counterparts. By leveraging India’s competitive advantage in the renewable energy sector, the initiative aims to support Korea’s ambitious decarbonization goals and promote bilateral cooperation in green technology development.
Indian companies leading the delegation, including Acme, Avaada Group, Hygenco, and Torrent Power, are at the forefront of green hydrogen production and innovation. Through advancements in electrolysis technology and renewable energy integration, these companies have demonstrated the feasibility of producing green fuels like hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol at scale, contributing to the global shift towards sustainable energy solutions.
The collaboration between Indian and Korean stakeholders holds the potential to drive significant environmental and economic benefits. By facilitating the adoption of green hydrogen and its derivatives, both countries can reduce carbon emissions, enhance energy security, and stimulate economic growth through job creation and technology transfer.
