Jakson Green is preparing to ship their inaugural green hydrogen electrolyzer in the coming months.
At the heart of Jakson Green’s mission is an ambitious plan to establish a 1 gigawatt electrolyzer manufacturing plant, signaling a commitment to becoming a frontrunner in this rapidly growing industry. The company doesn’t stop at domestic aspirations; they have their sights set on global impact. Through strategic partnerships and innovative approaches, Jakson Green aims to export green methanol to maritime shipping lines, capturing a significant share of their overall green molecule production.
A pivotal element of Jakson Green’s strategy is their revolutionary 10-tonnes-per-day green methanol production plant. Notably, this facility utilizes carbon dioxide captured from thermal power plants for hydrogen production, exemplifying a commitment to circular economy principles. The plant is slated to start operations by the end of this year, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey towards sustainable energy solutions.
With a target of 0.5 million metric tons per annum of green hydrogen and derivatives production by 2030, Jakson Green is actively participating in bids for port land allocation at India’s green hydrogen hubs. This proactive approach solidifies their commitment to scaling up operations and contributing significantly to India’s and the world’s green hydrogen landscape.
Jakson Green’s Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rajasthan government for a phased green hydrogen and ammonia project is a testament to their commitment to regional collaborations. Looking ahead, states like Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Orissa are also on their radar for export-oriented scaling up, further underlining the company’s expansive vision for a sustainable future.
