Hysata, Australia’s leading electrolyser company, has signed a landmark agreement with ACWA Power to demonstrate its high-efficiency capillary-fed electrolysis technology in Saudi Arabia.
The company’s $1.66 billion Department of Energy (DOE) loan guarantee will fund the construction of up to six hydrogen production facilities, starting with a plant in Graham, Texas. This facility, powered by wind energy, is expected to produce 45 tons of hydrogen per day, eliminating 175,000 tons of CO2 annually—equivalent to taking 38,000 cars off the road.
