University of Bath’s Institute for Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems (IAAPS) washas been officially unveiled. This facility, situated at the Bristol & Bath Science Park, is set to drive transformative change in the transportation industry as it leads the charge towards a net-zero future.

Bavarian Economics and Energy Minister Hubert Aiwanger is convinced that hydrogen will play a central role in the heat transition. He recently visited the town of Hohenwart to learn about the successful start of the H2Direkt hydrogen pilot project.

Hydrogen is evaluated as one of the next-generation eco-friendly energy sources that will replace fossil fuels along with electricity. It emits only water while driving, can dramatically reduce carbon emissions, and has a high energy density, making it effective not only in passenger cars but also in moving commercial vehicles, trains, and ships. Another advantage is that the charging time is short compared to electricity, and unlike fossil fuels, it can be mined in various areas.
