Hydrogène de France (HDF) has initiated three Memorandums of Cooperation (MOCs) to establish Renewstable hydrogen power plants in Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Sur, and Zamboanga City in Mindanao.

According to the French developer, the RSB plant will generate enough electricity for 16,000 Barbadians and will assist the island nation in replacing some of its old and expensive fossil-fuel-based energy assets.
The French company began operations in 2012 and is preparing to open its doors in Chile. It will study new investments for fuel development, where it expects to launch its first operation in 2024 with an investment of over US$250 million.
