Hyundai Motor, in collaboration with the South Korean Ministry of Environment, Seoul Metropolitan Government, SK E&S, and Tmap Mobility, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish Seoul as a leading city in hydrogen mobility.
This year, the city aims to invest 16.3 billion won to give 32.5 million won in incentives to hydrogen car owners. As a result, the customer may get a hydrogen automobile for half the price, valued at around 70 million won.
It plans to do so by forming a joint venture with municipal governments and relevant industries.
