South Korea to build three hydrogen production bases
The ‘2023 Hydrogen Production Base Construction Project’ would boost domestic clean hydrogen production infrastructure, the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy said on the 27th.
This announcement recruits operators to build three hydrogen production bases for the Ministry of Industry.
One hydrogen production base captures carbon dioxide from natural gas reforming and two use water electrolysis to produce hydrogen and oxygen from water.

Cummins and Tata Motors deepen partnership to power India with low-to-zero-emissions mobility including hydrogen
Leading provider of power around the world Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) announced that it and Tata Motors Limited (TML) have signed a binding agreement for the production of a variety of low- to zero-emissions technology products in India over the coming several years.
Through their 1993-founded joint venture Tata Cummins Private limited (TCPL) in India, Tata Motors and Cummins enjoy a 30-year-strong cooperation. The two organizations’ relationship is strengthened by the signing of this binding contract, which builds on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) they signed in November 2022 to work together on the design and development of low- and zero-emission propulsion technology solutions for commercial vehicles in India.
In accordance with this contract, Cummins and TML have established a new company called TCPL Green Energy Solutions Private Limited (GES), a fully owned subsidiary under the current joint venture, with a focus on the development and production of sustainable technology products. These products will include hydrogen-powered internal combustion engines, fuel delivery systems, battery electric powertrains, and fuel cell electric systems under the name AcceleraTM by Cummins.
Hydrogen Boat Centre launches

For two permanent hydrogen refueling stations at Exelby Services locations on the A1(M) and M6 motorways in the UK, Element 2 has got planning approval.
The stations, which will be constructed at the Coneygarth and Golden Fleece services, are expected to have a daily retail capacity of one to 2.5 tonnes, run around-the-clock, and be able to provide 50 fills for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) each day.
The stations will be open to the general public and suitable for HGVs as well as light business and passenger vehicles.
