Refire supplies fuel cells to Yutong
Fuel cells from Refire have been given to Yutong, which is more well-known for its buses and coaches. Yutong is also branching out into the hydrogen market and has a truck division.
Fifty Yutong fuel cell-powered vehicles went on the road earlier this spring. Together with Refire, the 49-ton trucks underwent upgrades before being shipped to a Chinese client.Audrey Ma, vice president of Refire’s foreign markets, shared the information on LinkedIn.
Charbone nears end of site selection process for green hydrogen production in US
In Oakland County, Michigan, Charbone is nearing the end of the site selection process for its first green hydrogen production in the US.
Oakland County is home to dozens of significant automotive firms, including multiple international headquarters, North American headquarters, and R&D facilities, after the company’s announcement of the project on December 4, 2023.
Charbone toured, assessed, and took into consideration the possibilities for rehabilitation of a number of old industrial sites with the full assistance of the Oakland County Department of Economic Development (OCED), the Detroit Regional Partnership (DRP), and the City of Detroit Office of Sustainability. The Company is currently nearing the end of its selection process and intends to make a decision in the upcoming weeks.
