Growing Mid Wales, a regional collaboration and engagement initiative, has commissioned Radical Innovations Group (RIG) to conduct a feasibility study on hydrogen’s potential as a decarbonisation driver in Wales.
The feasibility study examines future industrial-scale investment opportunities in green hydrogen production to aid in decarbonisation.
The study comes at a time when area stakeholders are becoming increasingly interested in green hydrogen as a zero-emission alternative. It is coordinated by RIG, a private SME focused on technology development and consulting on feasibility studies, policy and regulatory modeling, and strategy execution.
Hydrogen is frequently cited as a critical component in national and regional net-zero energy transformations. It has the ability to decarbonize entire sectors of the economy, weaning us off fossil fuels.
The study is financed by LEADER, an organization dedicated to assisting rural communities in responding to issues.
